Near Perfect
I use it for automotive, woodworking, trim carpentry and to frighten domestic animals. It hasn't failed to keep up with me yet. Can't quite manage one handed grip when moving it but worth using two.

Has been very good
I was on a job recently with some other compressors - the Makita stood out, quiet, build quality, air output and overall quality. It is heavier than some but I think it is worth the effort to move around and not that bad once you figure out how to handle it. I have been using it for over a year now - have not regretted the purchase.

A+++
Great compressor. This unit delivers great CFM w. a very low amperage draw. This means it won't trip an ordinary 15 amp household circuit when it starts up.

Very quiet, too.

The quietest compressor out there!
This compressor was purchased primarily for its size, capacity, and decibel rating. So far, it has lived up to all expectations. A great compressor!

New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
  • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
  • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
  • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 60 days.
